I hate to shop online!

Don't you hate online shopping?

Product picture so small.

Pictures so Dull, Dark/Bright and ugly!

Shipping cost is a pain.

It takes ages to arrive.

Item received totally different from the picture.

The quality is inferior compare to description.

Received damage goods!

Contact seller for refund takes forever.

Seller suddenly evaporated from Earth!

I've met them all...

But luckily for me, they are all small losses.

What should you do when shopping online?

Online shopping has becoming part of our life.

Since we could not totally run away from it.

We shall just learn from it.

Do a little home work!

Before you buy anything sell by seller you or your friends have never patronize before.

1st) I look at their Policy on shipping, returns, and about me.

I also try to find out where do they operate from.

If they do not ship to your location - email them to ask, else you can just next to other shop.

            I do that to find out - do they give me an honest feeling, or are they just some cold

            machine, sitting behind the computer whose aim is to just sell and say bye bye!

2nd) Read their review in the forum.

Comments left by ex-customers.

Google to see if any of the customers had complain about it.

See their first post to find out how long they have been establish.

            I do that to find out - how they treat their customers,

            are they making mistakes or scamming their customers frequently.

            And if they have been surviving long, especially a year or 2.

            They are probably credible seller.

            Else they would have been force to close down!

3rd) If I can, I normally buy in smaller quantity, or product I like but at a cheaper price. (a price I could afford to lose)

            This is done to minimize my loss. So even if I am scam, I'll just take it astride and

            warn my friends if I can.

4th) After receiving the product, check it.

See if you like his product and service.

If you like it, bookmark him had visit his shop again. Else - Next!!

            Anyway if like their product and they have a "Sign up" page, just go for it.

            Why? As a honest and good seller, they always try their best to make their

            customer return to their shop again and again.

            So with that sense, they would normally sent their "registered member" special

            discount or items not available to public.

            And I normally sign up with an separate e-mail address, so they will not mess up

            all my important mails!

Actually I prefer online shopping.

Though there bound to have a few unhappy situations.

There are some benefits.

To name a few,

It is usually cheaper to shop online then physical shop.

Online shop normally operate with a small group of people from home.

So they have less expenses - they can offer the items to you at a cheaper price.

It's a breeze.

Just a few clicks and typing on the keyboard,

you can immediately see and compare many products in a short time.

All in the comfort of your room

Air-con

Soft leathery chair.

You can even doze off if you want to.

No more worrying about the rain or hot sun tanning your smooth beautiful skin.

What to dress.

Or even an aching legs after the long hours walk.

Buy from Overseas

Stuffs only available in Japan or USA?

No problem!

No more feeling guilty for asking your friends who are going oversea to help you.

Just ask them to ship it over.

            (Just remember to read their shipping policy, If possible, try and ask them to ship

            via local postage service. E.g Singapore - Singpost, USA - USPS.

            They are normally cheaper as compared to DHL, Fedex alike

            Their delivery time is usually slightly longer and tracking system are limited. However I

            find their service value for price.)

Most importantly!!

When you received your items.

Check for defects.

Put them on carefully.

Try them on with all your favorite clothes.

Even take a few photos and ask for friends opinion if you want to.

And if you like it, keep it.

Else ask for a return.

This is something you can't do in physical shop!

            (But remember to check their return policy before doing that.

            Some shop does not accept returns or they charge a very small fee for it)
